Our Double Stack Disc Separators come standard with 80 discs total, the top 40 are typically all MM sizes with the option to add 5 BB discs on each end. The bottom 40 discs are the same configuration typically found in Carters(V4, V4.5, R5, V5, V5.5 etc.). We also offer a 100 disc option. Clean out is easy with the standard hinged drop out pans on the bottom and on the disc pan. An optional feature can be seen in some of the above photos. This allows you to collet what the last 7 discs are picking (individually) and send the material straight to trash, cutting down on re-run. On the top machine this would be sticks, or annual ryegrass that is in with fescue. On the bottom machine it collects the first 7 discs, commonly where dirt, poa and other weeds are picked. This machine will do 4-6,000 lbs/hr depending upon commodity.
Our Single shaft Disc Separator works best in smaller cleaning lines or as a re-run machine. This machine will do 1,500-2,500 lbs/hr depending upon commodity.
